Weigh In: Weeks 6 & 7

I didn’t weigh in last week. The weather was too bad.  Then my son got sick for 5 days, zapped me of my energy. I ate OK, but I def­i­nitely went off plan way more than I should have.  So today, I was SCURRED to get on the scale.

I STILL LOST A POUND!  :D

Man..if you only knew how badly I messed up (at least it seemed that way to me), and didn’t exercise..you would have been afraid for me.  So..while nor­mally a pound over 2 weeks would make me mad, this time, I’m quite happy with it!

The last 5 days.….

The last 5 days.....

…have been such a mixed bag of the good and the bad.

The Good: I got my tax refund! I went shop­ping, and got my new cam­era: Canon Pow­er­shot S5. I LOVE IT! Now to learn all the set­tings. I also got a portable pic­ture printer that makes such NICE prints. I’m gonna be a pic­ture tak­ing machine.

The Bad: My son got sick on Thurs­day night. The pic­ture above shows how he’s been all this time. He had stom­ach pain, and we thought it was a virus, but by this morn­ing when it wasn’t get­ting any bet­ter, and he was in agony, I called his doc­tor and took him to the ER.

The Good: 2 ene­mas later, he was fine. Back to his nor­mal, charm­ing, funny, sweet, lov­ing self. Way bet­ter than get­ting a new camera…I got my boy back! :)

4.6 pounds gone! Chang­ing what I was eat­ing really helped!

I haven’t posted a progress pic­ture yet, because my cam­era is on the fritz. I’m get­ting a new one on Friday…then the shots will begin!

Weigh In: Week 4

Loss: 0.4 lbs. Total: 8.8 lbs. My jeans are def­i­nitely fit­ting looser, and my black dress pants are too. I’m actu­ally going to have to buy a belt for the first time in YEARS!

This week was a lit­tle rough. Not to get into graphic detail, but it was the wrong time of month. Blah. That wasn’t the worst part though. I tried the first of my Firm Trans­FIR­Ma­tion videos: Hi-Def Sculpt, on Sat­ur­day. WHEW! It was a true work­out! After that, I pro­ceeded to go about my day. Took my son bowl­ing, as I do every Sat­ur­day, then I had to walk to my church for a meet­ing. Walked home after that, stayed home about 3 hours, then walked back to the church for a rehearsal. By the time I got to rehearsal, my knees were SCREAMING. I guess I had done too much. Anyhoo..my knees kept hurt­ing all day Sun­day AND Mon­day. So..I didn’t do any exer­cise after Sat­ur­day.

I guess I should feel blessed that I lost the lit­tle that I did. :lol: The recep­tion­ist at my WW meet­ing told me that eat­ing the same things all the time can get your body into a rut, also. Of course..cuz I get real com­fort­able eat­ing the same things. It was work­ing for me. Now I have to change up. I don’t wanna change. Change gives me too many choices! But I lis­tened to her, and after the meet­ing, I went to the store and bought dif­fer­ent foods.

My knees feel bet­ter now, so tomor­row is def­i­nitely an exer­cise day. With that..and the changeup in diet, hope­fully I can see at least a pound gone next week!

OH.…for those of you who are doing WW or any kind of diet, go to fat​se​cret​.com . It’s like myspace for dieters! LOL! I love it! I’m MsRikki on there..add me as a buddy! :-D
