Jules had a Black History Month program today. I filmed his part. He’s just growing up too fast!

I didn’t weigh in last week. The weather was too bad.  Then my son got sick for 5 days, zapped me of my energy. I ate OK, but I definitely went off plan way more than I should have.  So today, I was SCURRED to get on the scale.

I STILL LOST A POUND!  :D

Man..if you only knew how badly I messed up (at least it seemed that way to me), and didn’t exercise..you would have been afraid for me.  So..while normally a pound over 2 weeks would make me mad, this time, I’m quite happy with it!

The last 5 days.....

…have been such a mixed bag of the good and the bad.

The Good: I got my tax refund! I went shopping, and got my new camera: Canon Powershot S5. I LOVE IT! Now to learn all the settings. I also got a portable picture printer that makes such NICE prints. I’m gonna be a picture taking machine.

The Bad: My son got sick on Thursday night. The picture above shows how he’s been all this time. He had stomach pain, and we thought it was a virus, but by this morning when it wasn’t getting any better, and he was in agony, I called his doctor and took him to the ER.

The Good: 2 enemas later, he was fine. Back to his normal, charming, funny, sweet, loving self. Way better than getting a new camera…I got my boy back! :)

4.6 pounds gone! Changing what I was eating really helped!

I haven’t posted a progress picture yet, because my camera is on the fritz. I’m getting a new one on Friday…then the shots will begin!

Loss: 0.4 lbs. Total: 8.8 lbs. My jeans are definitely fitting looser, and my black dress pants are too. I’m actually going to have to buy a belt for the first time in YEARS!

This week was a little rough. Not to get into graphic detail, but it was the wrong time of month. Blah. That wasn’t the worst part though. I tried the first of my Firm TransFIRMation videos: Hi-Def Sculpt, on Saturday. WHEW! It was a true workout! After that, I proceeded to go about my day. Took my son bowling, as I do every Saturday, then I had to walk to my church for a meeting. Walked home after that, stayed home about 3 hours, then walked back to the church for a rehearsal. By the time I got to rehearsal, my knees were SCREAMING. I guess I had done too much. Anyhoo..my knees kept hurting all day Sunday AND Monday. So..I didn’t do any exercise after Saturday.

I guess I should feel blessed that I lost the little that I did. :lol: The receptionist at my WW meeting told me that eating the same things all the time can get your body into a rut, also. Of course..cuz I get real comfortable eating the same things. It was working for me. Now I have to change up. I don’t wanna change. Change gives me too many choices! But I listened to her, and after the meeting, I went to the store and bought different foods.

My knees feel better now, so tomorrow is definitely an exercise day. With that..and the changeup in diet, hopefully I can see at least a pound gone next week!
